County PIHC

Our Premier Intermediate hurlers suffered a 0-21 to 0-19 loss to Burgess in Nenagh on Sunday last (see report). Hard luck to all involved in what was a closely contested affair. Our second round outing in the county championship will be against Clonakenny on the weekend of the 12th/13th August.

U-19 B Hurling

Our under 19 hurlers face Newport in Dolla on Wednesday evening 2nd August in the North B championship. Throw in is at 7pm and all support is appreciated.

U-15 A Hurling and U-17 B Hurling

Our under 15 hurlers face Borris-Ileigh in Borrisoleigh on Thursday evening 3rd August in the North A championship. Throw in is at 7pm. Our under 17 hurlers face Lorrha/Shannon Rovers in Dolla on Monday August 7th in the North A championship. Throw in is at 7.30pm and all support is appreciated.

Club Lotto 

The jackpot is now €6,700 and the club are appealing to all club members to play the club lotto online through our Clubzap app or by logging on to www.silverminesgaa.com.

Tipperary GAA Draw

We are appealing to all club members to join the new Tipperary GAA Clubs Development Draw for the coming year. This year there will be a prize fund of over €600,000 with the first prize every month a car or a cash alternative of 18k. There are also a raft of cash prizes every month as well as a lucky lotto draw also where you pick your four numbers for the year. There will be a draw each month with the first draw in August and this will run up to May 2024. Up to 70 percent of funds raised go back to local clubs also. Contact any committee member for further details. To join for the year is just €100 and remember if you are not in you can’t win!

All Ireland Junior Camogie

Silvermines GAA senior club, camogie club, juvenile club and LGFA club would like to wish the Tipperary junior team and our own Aisling, Ciara, Miriam, Ellen, Nessa and Eimear the very best of luck in the All-Ireland final in Croke Park next Sunday.
