Player Auction and Club Raffle

Silvermines GAA, Handball, Camogie & LGFA are asking for your support. We are holding a Player Auction and Club Raffle this coming Saturday, July 1st at 9pm in Buddy’s Bar, Capparoe.  

Raffle tickets have been distributed to club players. Some of the raffle prizes include a beauty hamper worth €1000, a 8x4 trailer of timber and a personal training session with Jason Forde. 

On the night we will be auctioning people for different trades. Painting, hedge cutting, labour, grinds, electricians, carpenters and many more trades. 

Come along, place some bids for jobs you need done and enjoy a night of entertainment. 

U-19 Hurling

We face Kilruane MacDonaghs in the opening round of the North Tipperary U-19 B hurling championship this Wednesday night (28th June) in Dolla at 7pm. All support is appreciated.

Commiserations

Commiserations to Jason Forde and the Tipperary team and management following their All-Ireland Quarter-Final loss to Galway on Saturday eveninglast.

Junior B Hurling

Our Junior B hurlers had a fantastic win over our near neighbours Templederry in a well-contested opening round clash of the North Tipp championship in Dolla on Friday evening last. The home side led by 2-10 to 0-5 at the break following a dominant opening half but Templederry emerged determined to peg back the deficit and really took the game to Silvermines in the second half. The home side held out though to record a deserved 3-15 to 2-14 victory. Our next two games will be against Moneygall and Lorrha in Group 1. Please keep an eye on fixtures for details. 

North Tipp PIHC

The North Tipperary Premier Hurling Championship is expected to kick off on the weekend of the 8/9th July. Please keep up to date with fixtures for full confirmation of dates and throw-in times.

Club Lotto
