Membership 

Membership is now due and all rates can be viewed and paid online via the GAA's foireann app in the coming week. Membership can also be paid on Clubzap. All players are urged to ensure membership is paid as soon as possible. All membership must be paid by March 31st.

County Hurling League DIvision 3

Our first game in Round 1 was away to Moneygall on Sunday last and resulted in a hard earned 2-14 to 1-12 victory over the home side. Second half goals from Danny Quinn and Sean Spillane helped the 'Mines overcome a stiff Moneygall challenge. A fortunate Moneygall goal proved the difference between the sides at the interval (1-5 to 0-5). Moneygall battled hard in the second half and were always within touching distance but Silvermines were buoyed by a Danny Quinn goal on 34 minutes before a bout of unanswered scoring between the 37th and 47th minutes saw 1-4 notched up without reply by the visitors. Spillane's goal came in the 45th minute and in essence provided the necessary springboard for a deserved yet hard-fought Silvermines victory.

Fixtures

We face Skeheenarinky in our second round game in Division 3 on Sunday next at 12 noon in Dolla and on the same day at 3pm our juniors face St. Mary's in the second round of the Division 5 county league. All support appreciated.
