Congratulations to all the boys and girls from the SilverMines who competed in the County Primary Schools Handball competition hosted in Nenagh and Kilcoleman on Saturday. In Boys U11 singles we had Paul Shanahan, and Conor Ryan competing, in the U13 singles Josh Boland, U13 Doubles Eoin Grace and Cathal Quigley, U11 girls singles Laura O'Connor, U13 girls singles Eva Quigley and U13 girls doubles Ailbhe Treacy and Charlotte Ryan who also reached the county final. Congratulations to those who also won County finals on the day. In the U11 girls singles Saoirse Ryan defeated Nenagh and Burgess on the way to winning the county title 21-16. Robert Ryan and Oilleog Kelly O'Driscoll won through in the U11 doubles final with great wins over Burgess and over Ardcroney in the final 21-16. Conor Ryan and Daniel McKelvey played some great handball when defeating Ballina , Carrick-on-Suir and Nenagh when winning the U13 Doubles final 21-18
