Our lotto jackpot is now €7,500. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed through the online app.

 

 

Premier Intermediate

 

Best of luck to our Premier Intermediate hurlers and management who begin their county championship campaign with a first round outing against Sean Treacy’s in Newport on Sunday 26th July at 2pm.

 

 Silvermines GAA Golf Classic

 

This year our annual Silvermines GAA Golf Classic took place in Nenagh Golf Club on Friday last and proved a resounding success.

The classic took the format of a four person scramble. First prize of four €150 Pro Shop vouchers went to the team of Peter Kennedy, Conor Gleeson, Padraic Hickey and Derek Hayes. Second prize of four €100 Sportsmans Dream vouchers went to the team of Brendan Timmons, Lorcan Lynch, Steven Reilly and Eoin Reilly. The third prize of four €60 Pro Shop vouchers went to Anthony Ryan, Jim O’Sullivan, Scott O’Brien and Willie Harty while First Prize of €25 euro Pro Shop vouchers in the juveniles section went to Ben Platt, Craig Kennedy, Tiernan Dillon and Cian Kennedy. Second prize of golf balls went to Fionn Harrington, Daniel Sherlock and Cillian Shanahan and 3rd prize of golf balls went to Conor Harrington, Eoin Hanrahan and Dylan Corrigan.

First in the Mixed Team competition and a prize of four Breo Jewellers vouchers went to Eddie Stapleton, Tom Ryan, David Stapleton and Kathleen Maher. Nearest the pin on the eighth hole was won by Darragh Egan and the longest drive on the fourth hole was won by James Duff. There was no winner of the Hole in One competition.

A big thank you also to Maeve De Loughry and all on the organising committee for ensuring everything went off smoothly.

Minor A Hurling

Our minor hurlers face Burgess on Wednesday 22nd July in Dolla at 7.30 pm in round 2 of this year's north minor championship. Best of luck to all involved. 

 

U14 ‘A’ Hurling 

 

Our U-14 hurlers face Ballinahinch/Templederry on this coming Thursday evening 23rd July at 6.45 pm in Dolla in round four of the north championship. Best of luck to all involved. We had a narrow two-point win over Toomevara in round three last week, 1-9 to 1-7.

 

U16 ‘B’ Hurling

 

Our U-16 hurlers play Roscrea on this Monday evening 20th of July at 6.45 pm in Roscrea in round six of the north championship. We lost out to Kildangan on a 3-17 to 1-14 scoreline in last week’s round five clash.

 

U12 A Hurling

 

Our U12 A side face Roscrea in Roscrea on Tuesday 21st July at 6.45pm in round eight of the north championship. Best of luck to all.

 

Minor A Camogie

 

Our Minor A camogie side face Nenagh in Dolla on Tuesday 21st July at 6.45pm in round three of the camogie championship. Best of luck to all involved.

 

 

 

Congratulations

 

Congratulations to Amy Keogh who had the honour of captaining the Tipperary U-14camogie team alongside Annie Davis of Shannon Rovers in the Orla McDonagh Cup Final in Thurles at the weekend. Tipperary defeated Kilkenny in the final having already overcome the challenges of Cork and Galway while playing out a hard-fought draw with the Banner county. Amy is a daughter of Donal and Annette Keogh, Ballinaclough.
