Our lotto jackpot is now €7,400. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed through the online app.

 

Premier Intermediate Champions

 

Huge congratulations to our Premier Intermediate hurlers and management following a fantastic North Premier Intermediate Final win over reigning champions Ballina in MacDonagh Park, Nenagh on Sunday.

Silvermines overcame a stiff Ballina challenge to capture the Premier Intermediate title for the first time since its inception in 2022 on a 1-18 to 0-16 scoreline.

Thank you to all our supporters who came out in the brilliant Summer sunshine to witness a fantastic victory and thank you also to all our generous sponsors and also to Buddys Bar, Capparoe for hosting a barbeque in celebration of the win on Sunday evening after the game.

 

 

Silvermines GAA Golf Classic

 

This year our annual Silvermines GAA Golf Classic will take place in Nenagh Golf Club on this coming Friday the 17th of July. The classic will take the format of a four person scramble and the entry fee is €140 per team and €80 per juvenile team. There will also be a prize of €1,000 for a hole in one. A very big thank you also to our main sponsors Buddy's Bar, Capparoe and Breo Jewellers, Nenagh. Please contact Maeve on 087-6313508 to book a tee time. All support is greatly appreciated.

There will also be a club raffle for two All Ireland Hurling Final tickets as well as two tickets for the Irish Open. 

Entry is Ten euro for the raffle. The draw will take place in Buddy's Bar on the 17th of July.

 

Junior ‘A’ Hurling

 

Hard luck to our Junior ‘A’ hurlers and management who lost out to Roscrea on a scoreline of 2-18 to 1-19 in Shallee on Friday evening last.

 

 

U14 ‘A’ Hurling 

 

Our U-14 hurlers face Toomevara on this coming Thursday evening 16th July at 6.45 pm in Toomevara. Best of luck to all involved.

 

 

U16 ‘B’ Hurling

 

Our U-16 hurlers play Kiladangan on this Monday evening13th of July at 6.45 pm in Dolla. We had a narrow 3-14 to 4-10loss to Naomh Eoin on Monday last in Ballinderry.

 

U13 Camogie

 

Our U-13 camogie side face Kilruane in Dolla on Wednesday 15th July at 6.30pm. Best of luck to all involved.

 

Congratulations

 

Congratulations to Conor Harrington and the Mid/North Tipperary U-14 football team who won the Camida Cup in Killenaule, defeating Limerick, Offaly and South Tipperary at the weekend.

 

Sympathy

 

Sincere sympathy is extended to the family of Paul Stapleton who was a former senior and junior B selector with our Camogie teams in Dolla for the 2024 season where both teams reached the county league semi-finals. Paul came to Dolla with Pat Ryan who was manager at the time after a very successful stint with Drom & Inch camogie. Deepest sympathy to his wife Jacqui, daughters Michelle and Roisin, son Joey, father Billy and a wide circle of friends.
