Féile Success

Huge congratulations to our Féile hurling team who won the 2026 Munster Division 3 Féile hurling competition in Staker Williams GAA club at the weekend. Both Silvermines and Killeigh were crowned joint winners after the final ended in a 1-10 to 2-7 draw after extra-time with a late Sean Treacy goal ensuring a share of the spoils for a fantastic Silvermines side following an epic battle with the Cork outfit. Along the path to the final Silvermines overcame Ennistymon of Clare by 3-10 to 1-3 and also accounted for Salthill/Knocknacarra on a scoreline of 2-9 to 2-2 and also drew with Coshlea Gaels from Limerick, 1-8 apiece.

Junior A Hurling League

Our Junior A side overcame Borris-Ileigh by 1-16 to 0-16 point in a well-contested North Tipperary hurling league clash in Shallee on Friday evening last with an early first half goal from the stick of Daniel Ryan proving the eventual difference. Silvermines led by 1-8 to 0-7 at the break and matched Borris-Ileigh throughout what proved a tight second half before running out eventual and deserving winners. Our next outing will be against Ballinahinch in Templederry on Sunday at 12 noon.
