Junior A League
Silvermines' North Tipperary Junior 'A' league game against Moneygall resulted in a 2-14 to 1-13 win for Silvermines on Wednesday evening last in Dolla. Silvermines were level at the break, 1-6 to 0-9, following a well-taken Eoin Grace goal right on the cusp of half-time. Silvermines netted a second early in the second half with Dan Ryan finding the back of the Moneygall net before additional points from Eoin Grace, Dan Ryan, and a trio of Eoin Grace free ensured the 'Mines led by two with the sixty minute mark approaching. Adam Steed arrowed over to put three between the sides in the 60th minute before a late Eoin Grace point copper-fastened a hard-fought victory for the home side.

Camogie
Our Senior camogie side overcame Burgess-Duharra on a scoreline of 2-13 to 2-10 on Saturday evening last in the county league. Silvermines led by 1-6 to 0-6 at the break with 20th minute Sarah Madden goal proving the difference between the sides. The 'Mines extended their lead to four with a Nessa Murray point after the break but Burgess-Duharra fought back to lead by one point at the 40-minute mark.
Kellie O'Dwyer brought the 'Mines level before a cracking Aoife Ryan goal on 48 minutes fired the home side into a 2-9 to 1-9. Burgess-Duharra once again levelled proceedings in the 58th minute but three points on the bounce in the closing stages from Ashling Carey (two frees) and Aoife Ryan secured victory for the 'Mines.

Well done also to club member David Boland who was the referee for the Primary Game in Semple Stadium also.
