Our Lotto jackpot is now €4,900. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed online through Clubzap.
Munster Junior 'B' Hurling Championship
Silvermines recorded a comprehensive 1-20 to 0-11 win over Ballyclough of Cork in the Munster Junior ‘B’ semi-final in Killeedy, Limerick on Saturday afternoon last.
Well done to all involved. We now play Ballybrown from Limerick in the Munster final on Sunday February 8th.
AGM
A well-attended Silvermines GAA Club AGM took place on Friday evening last in the clubhouse in Dolla.
Club Chairman, Joe Ryan opened the meeting and thanked all present for their attendance and lauded the work of all the club's committees throughout whhat had been a memorable year for the club. He also thanked all who had assisted in any way with club activities throughout the year and lauded the efforts of all players and management involved with all the club's adult teams.
Club Secretary, Majella presented a detailed report to the meeting detailing the club’s on-field activities and fundraising activities while Treasurer, Ronan Gleeson presented a detailed report into the club’s finances. Chairman, Joe Ryan thanked everyone for the work, help and assistance throughout the year, a year that brought both north and county success to the club through our Junior ‘B’ side.
The club’s Lotto committee was also lauded for their work and dedication throughout the year while Billy Grace and Tom Kelly were thanked for all their work in ensuring Dolla GAA fields are always kept in pristine condition.
Tributes were paid to everyone who gives their time freely, often behind the scenes, for their work throughout the year and to all the players, mentors and volunteers who play their part in making this club a community to be proud of.
Tributes were also paid to members of our GAA community who passed away during the year, former players, officers and in particular Mary McGrath, Mary Ryan Mulqueen and Joan O’Brien who all shared a love for Silvermines GAA, and whom will be sadly missed in 2026, but who we will always be remembered for their valuable contribution and the indelible mark they left in Dolla.
