1979 Silvermines Junior Hurling Team Reunion

A very successful re-union of the Silvermines Junior Hurling panel of 1979 took place in Buddy’s, Capparoe on Friday evening last. The 1979 team won the first ever North Tipperary Junior Hurling title for the club and the team also won the club’s first ever county title on the field of play. Thank you to all who attended on the night and special mention and thanks also to Michael O’Brien for organising the very successful reunion.

 

U-21 A North Tipperary Hurling

Our U-21 hurlers are out in the championship this coming Sunday against Roscrea in Dolla at 12 noon. Best of luck to all the team and management.

 

Hallowe'en Walkathon

 

Silvermines GAA are hosting a Hallowe'en Walkathon as part of the Silvermines goes to the Movies Fundraiser. The walkathon will take place at Dolla GAA Grounds on October 31st at 7pm for what promises to be a spooktacular evening filled with fun, games and treats.

Anyone who wishes to sign up can contact any club officer with the club needing everyone to make the event a success.

 

 

Junior C Hurling

Hard luck to our Junior C hurlers and management who lost out on a scoreline of 

3-14 to 1-17 in the North final in Templederry on Saturday.

 

Lotto

Our Lotto jackpot is now €3,700. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed online through Clubzap.

 

Silvermines Goes to the Movies

Tickets for the Silvermines Goes to the Movies fundraising event will be available in Dolla Clubhouse again in the next week or so. Tickets are limited to two per person and are priced at €50 each. 

Step on to the red carpet and join us for a glamorous evening of cinema, community and a touch of Hollywood magic on Saturday 8th November in the Abbey Court Hotel.
