Junior ‘B’ Hurling
Congratulations to our Junior ‘B’ hurlers and management team who comfortably overcame St. Patrick’s by 1-22 to 0-11 in the county quarter-final at Holycross on Sunday.
Silvermines led by 1-10 to 0-8 at the break with the goal coming from Eamon Corcoran in the 25th minute. Silvermines pushed on in the second half with points from Ronan Cunneen, Orrie Quirke, Dan Ryan, Ger Leamy, Willie Keogh and Brian Leamy ensuring a fully deserved victory for the ‘Mines.
Hallowe'en Walkathon
Silvermines GAA are hosting a Hallowe'en Walkathon as part of the Silvermines goes to the Movies Fundraiser. The walkathon will take place at Dolla GAA Grounds on October 31st at 7pm for what promises to be a spooktacular evening filled with fun, games and treats.
Anyone who wishes to sign up can contact any club officer with the club needing everyone to make the event a success.
Junior C Hurling
Best of luck to our Junior C hurlers and management in the North final against Ballina in Templederry on Saturday (throw-in 3pm).
Silvermines booked their place in the final following a hard-earned solitary point victory over Ballinahinch in what proved an absorbing semi-final clash in Dolla on Sunday last.
Silvermines emerged victorious on a scoreline of 2-13 to 1-15 after Ballinahinch had led by 1-8 to 0-6 at the break.

Our Lotto jackpot is now €3,600. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed online through Clubzap.
Silvermines Goes to the Movies
Tickets for the Silvermines Goes to the Movies fundraising event will be available in Dolla Clubhouse from 8-9pm on Thursday 16th of October and again on Friday 17th October from 8-9pm. Tickets are limited to two per person and are priced at €50 each.
Step on to the red carpet and join us for a glamorous evening of cinema, community and a touch of Hollywood magic on Saturday 8th November in the Abbey Court Hotel.
