Congratulations to Saoirse Ryan from Boulteeny who was crowned U-16 Munster Camogie Poc Fada champion at the weekend.

Three Schools Parish Blitz

Well done to all the boys and girls from 3rd class to 6th class from the three schools in the parish who took part in a Silvermines GAA scholl blitz in Dolla on Friday last. Thanks also to all who helped out on the day.

Golf Classic

Silvermines GAA are hosting a Golf Classic on Friday 18th July in Nenagh Golf Club as part of a fundraising effort to assist in the ongoing development and running of the club. Entry for a team of four will be 140 euro. All support will be greatly appreciated. Please contact Maeve DeLoughry for further details.

U-13 North Hurling

Well done to our 13 'B' hurlers who overcame Newport in the first round of the championship last week. Their next fixture is away to Borris-Ileigh this Tuesday before a third round clash with Ballina in Dolla on Tuesday 24th June.

Lotto

Our Lotto jackpot is now €5,300. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed online.

Celtic Challenge

Hard luck to Daniel McKelvey and Eoin Grace who were part of the Tipperary team who lost out to Cork in the final of U-17 Celtic Challenge in Semple Stadium last week. The club also want to wish Jack Quirke-Jones, who was also part of the squad, a speedy recovery from injury.

Tipp v Galway

Best of luck to Jason Forde and Michael Corcoran and the Tipperary team and management in the All-Ireland hurling quarter final against Galway next Saturday.
