Camogie Celebration

Silvermines Camogie Club is 30 years old this year and to commemorate the occasion by organising a night in Buddy’s Capparoe on this coming Saturday 23rd of November.

The club went on to field their first adult team in 1999 and won both league and championships and are hoping to get all past players, managers, selectors, chairmen, secretaries and treasurers together for the night. Please spread the word in the coming weeks.

Under-21 'A' Hurling

Commiserations to our U-21 'A' hurlers who lost out to Borris-Ileigh on a scoreline of 2-16 to 1-13 in Nenagh on Sunday. 1968 was our last U-21 'A' final appearance and unfortunately it wasn't to be on the day for us. Congratulations to Borris-Ileigh on their victory.

The club would also like to thank the team and mentors for all their efforts throughout the year.

Lotto Jackpot

Our club Lotto is now at €3,700.  Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed online.

 Club AGM

The AGM of Silvermines GAA Club will take place in the meeting room in Dolla on Saturday 30th November next at 8.15 pm. All are welcome.

Sympathy

Sincere sympathy is extended to the family of Michael Horan, Silvermines. Michael was a founding member of Silvermines GAA juvenile club in 1968 and a club stalwart for many years. The club would like to extend sincere sympathy to Michael's wife Kathleen, his sons Niall and Shane and the extended Horan family.
