Silvermines GAA Reunion Night

Silvermines GAA hosted a very succesaful  Reunion Night in Buddys, Capparoe on Saturday night last.

Many stories were told of past victories and memorable successes with presentations by our club President Fr. Brendan Moloney,  Club Chairman, Joseph Ryan and Club Secretary, Majella Bailey to the 1970 North Minor Championship Winning Panel, the 1972 North and County Intermediate winning panel, the 1974 North Senior Winning Panel and the 1999 North and County Intermediate winning panel.

The club would like to extend its gratitude to all who attended and also to Finbarr and Kathryn and all the staff in Buddy’s for what was a terrific night.

The club would like to wish our Junior B players and management the very best of luck in this year's Junior B county hurling decider against Cappawhite in Kilcommon on Saturday next at 3.30pm. All support greatly appreciated.

Junior C side through to North Final

Commisserations to our Junior C hurlers and management following their North final defeat to Ballina in Toomevara on Saturday afternoon last.
