Junior B League Final

Congratulations to our Junior B team and management following their dramatic penalty shootout victory over a gallant Lorrha side in the North league final in Puckane on Sunday last. Following a titanic battle which saw Lorrha lead by 0-10 to 0-7 at the break, and a second half which ended with the sides tied at 1-15 to 0-18, the game went to extra time where a further half hour of hurling failed to separate the sides (1-18 to 0-21). Both sides netted two out of their opening five penalties before a sudden death penalty from Ronan Cunneen ensured victory for the ‘Mines. (see report).  Our first outing in the championship is scheduled for Saturday 22nd June at 7.30pm in Dolla.
