Silvermines GAA Notes
County League
Silvermines lost out to St. Mary’s by 1-12 to 0-10 in the third round of Division 2 of the league in Dolla on Sunday last. Silvermines trailed by just a solitary point at the interval, 0-6 to 0-5 but a 43rd minute goal put the home side on the back foot for the final quarter with St. Mary’s eventually running out five-point winners.
County Senior Camogie League
We overcame Thurles Sarsfields by 1-12 to 0-8 in the senior county camogie league in Thurles on Sunday last.
U-13 Football
Silvermines u-13 ‘A’ side lost out by 4-5 to 4-3 in a cracking encounter in Dolla on Tuesday last while our ‘D’ side had a very comfortable victory over Burgess in Kilcolman on the same night.
U-15 Football
Silvermines lost out to Templederry/Ballinahinch by 7-1 to 4-1 in the North under 15 championship in Templederry on Friday last. We face Borris-Ileigh in Dolla on Thursday evening in the next round.
U-17 Football
Our under 17 footballers lost out to Kilruane by 3-8 to 2-7 in Doll on Monday of last week.
Junior B League
Our Junior B league fixture against Burgess was postponed at the weekend due to the inclement weather conditions. Keep an eye on North Board fixtures for re-fixture details.
Membership
Membership for 2024 is still open and can be renewed online on the Foireann app or website. This is the easiest way to pay club membership and all membership packages for the club, gym and walking track are clearly set out. Membership must be paid by all players before the season commences.
Camogie League Final

Our club Lotto has hit the five-figure mark and is now at 10,200 euro. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed online.
