County PIHC

Well done to our Premier Intermediate hurlers following a last gasp win over Newport in the final round of the county championship in Templederry on Saturday afternoon last (see report). This result means we finish in third place in our group and avoid relegation. The club would like to thank all players for their efforts throughout this year's campaign. Thanks also to our backroom team comprising manager, Brian Lawlor, selectors Maurice Leamy Jnr and Padraig Fogarty, coach John Mescall, physio Eddie Hynes and kit man Mike Shanahan.

Club Lotto 

The jackpot is now €7,300 and the club are appealing to all club members to play the club lotto online through our Clubzap app or by logging on to www.silverminesgaa.com.

Under 17 Hurling

The very best of luck to under 17 hurlers in the North quarter-final against Roscrea tonight Monday 28th August in Toomevara. Throw in is at 6.30pm.

Under 15 Hurling

The very best of luck to under 15 hurlers in the North quarter-final against Newport on Thursday 31st August in Ballina. Throw in is at 6.30pm.

Under 19 Hurling

A huge well done to our under 19 hurlers following a fantastic 3-13 to 0-15 win over Burgess in the North quarter-final in Kilcolman on Wednesday evening last. We now play Clonakenny/Moneygall in Moneygall on Wednesday 30th August. Throw-in is at 7pm and all support is appreciated.

Under 13 hurling North Final

Congratulations to our under 13 hurlers who overcame Burgess by 3-10 to 0-12 in the North ‘B’ semi-final in Nenagh on Tuesday last and have qualified for the North final on Sunday September 3rd in Templederry at 11am. Hard luck also to our under 13 D hurlers who lost out on a scoreline of 2-11 to 0-5 against Kilruane in Roscrea on Thursday. Well done boys on a great season.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Eoin Grace, Mark Hoare, Daniel McKelvey and Jack Quirke Jones who were part of Tipperary under age squads who were victorious over the weekend. Well done boys.

Camogie

Well done to our senior side who registered an opening round 3-17 to 1-9 win over Nenagh Eire Og on Sunday in Nenagh. Our next outing is at home to Burgess/Duharra on Sunday 3rd September at 2pm in Dolla.

Our Junior B side lost out by 2-12 to 0-2 against a strong Gortnahoe-Glengoole side in Gortnahoe on Saturday evening last and will face Moyle Rovers in the next round on Saturday 2nd September.
